RV-E Reducer

The RV-E cycloidal gear reducer, it is the solid series reducer in RV gearbox, have features of high torque, high rigidity and high precision backlash < 1 arc.min and large power transmission, widely used in industial robotics automation, welding positioner, machine tool, medical, wind energy and military etc.

This type RV-E cycloidal gear reducer is a comonents, you could design the flange and fill grease inside, besides, we have RV-E cycloidal gear reducer RD series directly mounted with servo motor, already with cover and flange and grase inside,easy installation.

Grease for RV-E Series Reducer

The gearbox reducer is not filled with grease when it leaves the factory. Please fill it with special grease for ZKRV reducer when installation. Please check the deterioration of the grease in time to determine the replacement time. Generally, the grease needs to be replaced after 2000 hours of operation for the first time.

Vertical Installation

      The following table shows the amount of grease to be filled with the RV-E series reducer, excluding the volume between it and the mounting flange. When actually adding grease, please calculate it together with the volume between the mounting flanges, and the filling amount is about 85% of the total volume.

Special grease for ZKRV gearbox reducer

Sealed Requirements for Gearbox Reducer RV-E Series

The O-ring should be used correctly at the input end of the reducer. The material of the O-ring is nitrile rubber, and the dimensions are shown in the table on the right.


O-rings cannot be used at the output end of the reducer due to structural reasons, and the specified liquid sealant should be used between the joint planes.
